Eddy Ventose is a highly accomplished academic, Attorney at Law and Notary Public who attained his Bachelors of Law Degree at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus in Barbados with First Class Honours and a Legal Education Certificate at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad & Tobago. He later on to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice in England, a Masters of Law with First Class Honours from the Cambridge University in England, and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Oxford in England. He is a distinguished scholar who has received several academic awards including the University of the West Indies Vice Chancellor's Award for Academic Excellence and the Henry Tomlinson Cambridge Scholarship Award.  He is also well researched and widely published in many well reputed law journals and his publications include "Search and you will Find: Google Adwords andTrademarks Protection" (2010) in the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and Practice and his soon to be released book publication"Medical Patent Law: the Challenges of Medical Treatments." He is eligible to practice law both within Caricom and the European Union. Renowned for his intellectual and research abilities, his peers and clients alike place extreme confidence in his legal opinions and advice. His research interests/areas of legal practice include: Intellectual Property Law, Trade and International Economics Law, Public Administration, Corporate & Commercial Law.
